The Year of the Ox is about to begin in Tibet, one month after the Chinese celebrate their New Year. This is decided on local calendars and can be calculated from the Western New Year by looking at the first new moon after January 1 as the Chinese New Year, and the second new moon after January 1 as the Tibetan New Year, also called Losar.

The Losar new moon carries more potency, and is usually celebrated by Tibetans still on home land, and refugees wherever they may be. This year, the Tibetan people will not celebrate it for the first time ever. Hence, our work together on this important day. Tibet is the rooftop of the World, literally, and what happens or doesn’t happen there, impacts the World in a great way.

Since the Ox is about hard work, tenacity, patience and loyalty, and can bring about the reaping of what has been sown, and then we have an interesting karmic effect for individuals and countries harvesting their previous efforts in the fields of Creation.

What also occurs on this celebrated day is Mardi Gras Fat Tuesday, which is followed by Ash Wednesday.  We will also have the moon in Pisces, offering enhanced psychic abilities and emotional sensitivities. This could be volatile in some regions.

New Age Ideas will literally be a downloaded brainstorm during this time. Our work together will include harnessing these ideas for personal, spiritual and humanitarian productivity.

We will also pray for safety and well being of those who lives are spent with greater consciousness and purpose in mind, but whose freedom is not physically achieved. May all beings enjoy freedom and happiness.
